We design, create and build our products right here in Wisconsin! We have a new opportunity available for a customer focused individual for our Sales Support Division. The Technical Customer Support Specialist will be a critical team player in a key department that serves our residential consumers. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and authorizing warranty repairs to our authorized dealer network. Additional duties will include assisting our Resolution Specialists with escalated consumer situations as well as providing technical training to our Consumer Customer Support Representatives.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with “hands on” product training for our Customer Support Reps.
Gathering and proper documentation of product failure information.
Providing guidance to our Customer Support Resolution Specialists to help them provide better and faster resolutions to our consumer customer base.
Basic Qualifications:
2 – 5 years of customer support and mechanical experience;
Excellent phone and customer service skills along with sound reasoning skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong foundation of basic mechanical and electrical (AC/DC) fundamental theory;
Solid knowledge of engine maintenance and troubleshooting to include: air cooled and liquid cooled units, gas, diesel, LP and natural gas fuel systems;
Ability to stay calm in pressure situations;
Computer knowledge and data entry skills;
Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing workloads;
Computer knowledge and data entry skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish
Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP.
