We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Belt Technician to join our team inTucson, Arizona.This exciting opportunity will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely fabrication of the company belting products.

Process work orders and fabricates belts to meet client specifications
• Assure orders are of the highest quality and completed in a timely manner
• Perform customer on-site services
• Perform all responsibilities within productivity and quality standards
• Recommend improvements in efficiency and quality
• Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner and maintain a clean work area
• Work with others in a positive and team-oriented manner
• 24/7 customer calls with belting service needs
• Familiar with black conveyor belting work, hard rock mining aggregates with vulcanizing tools & equipment

Education

• High school diploma or GED required or work related experience equivalence

Experience

• 2 years of belt fabrication experience in a factory environment
• Understanding & ability to use hand tools & belt fabrication equipment (Vulcanizing)
• Ability to utilize Imperial & Metric measurements
• Valid Arizona Driver's license required

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Overnight travel required
• Capable of learning to an advanced degree the Belting Service Work
