The Senior Developer Analyst with our E-Commerce team, is responsible for developing and implementing multi-tiered software applications to support current and future business solutions. Supports the development of business applications and solutions, responds to inquiries and resolves issues. Ensures high availability of applications and provide exceptional user support. This role requires the ability to analyze, solve problems, produce required documentation, participate in requirements gathering, and develop software utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Analyze current applications’ effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements and convert into functional specifications
- Develop software solutions to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the testing of new software or modified applications
- Develop, Install and promote software solutions from the development to the production environment
- Participate in systems maintenance and upgrades of existing enterprise applications
- Perform problem identification, categorization, prioritization, diagnosis, and resolution
- Provide daily technical support for business and integrated applications. This will include the daily support of business users as well as peers within the IT department
- Operates with a continuous improvement mentality
- Flexible and willing to work on various applications, solutions and projects
- Ability to adjust working schedule when project demands or system issues arise

- Very strong design and coding skills using Java and JSP
- Oracle Commerce/ATG development experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript and SQL/TSQL
- High skill level working with databases such as MS SQL and Oracle
- Experience with multi-tier architectures including integration of web applications with legacy systems
- Experience working with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics
- Excellent understanding and usage of SOAP and RESTful web services
- Knowledge of Cloud Architecture, AWS environments and SDKs
- Development experience in Eclipse based IDE tools
- Skilled in usage of source control practices with TFS, GIT and JIRA
- Experience with standard application development methodologies
- Experience in business applications development or comparable IT role
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
