Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Design Lead for a contract lasting working remotely through December 2024 working with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI.
Compensation: $75-105/hour
Job Description:
The Plan execution team is responsible for enabling advisors and clients to activate their financial plans in retirement. The goal is to help our clients spend their wealth in the most tax-efficient and beneficial strategy. Retirement Income management and distribution is an emerging service at client and is an opportunity to increase the relevance of our business for retired clients. The work is complex, involving many teams and systems, and ambiguous, as it's part of a brand-new service offering.

- Creating low-fi and high-fi wireframes using existing design system and patterns, as well as creating flexible components from scratch if needed
- Facilitating workshops to extract requirements from subject matter experts and stakeholders (e.g. user story mapping, design studio workshop)
- Creating artifacts for effective communication with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders (e.g. user flows, lo-fi concepts)
- Collaborating with user research and content solutions partners in design/research sprints
- Implementing scalable solutions aligned with larger vision
- Considering impact and outcomes for the business and users
- Enhancing enterprise-level software while adhering to technical constraints
- Understanding project goals and delivering end-to-end solutions with cross-functional teams and business partners
- Expert Figma and prototyping skills
- Proactive and independent work style
- Quick learner, ideally background in financial application design or complex applications (highly trained users with specialized knowledge)
- Advanced skills in product thinking, interaction design, and design execution
- Adaptability to ambiguous problem spaces and changing requirements
- Ability to manage difficult stakeholders at the VP level
- Skilled at gaining buy-in and progressing projects within tight timelines
- Big picture / strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and documentation skills (Confluence, Jira)
- Easy to work with, willingness to take direction
- Ability to work on projects with multiple features, users, and stakeholders
