What We're Seeking

A gritty go-getter that will strategically manage and grow existing business, develop new business in the foodservice channel to achieve annual financial and growth goals in assigned geographic area and with key accounts.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Maintain strong relationships with current Customers
    • Manage assigned channels of distribution including End-users and Wholesalers, Distributors.
    • Manage assigned Brokers to achieve Annual Budget targets
  • Grow our brand and business with new Customers
    • Generate new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
    • Exceed annual new business targets
    • Maintain an active and accurate Sales Funnel
  • Financial Accountability
    • Maintain expenses within budgeted levels.
    • Exceed annual net sales and profit targets for assigned region, as defined by the annual budget.
  • Industry Networking
    • Grow and maintain knowledge and monitor competitive activity.
    • Attend and/or manage Brokers attendance of trade shows and customer events as agreed upon with the VP of Sales.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision and motivate others to achieve required goals.
    • Proactively work with your team to encourage growth and development.
    • Provide regular and continual feedback and support.
    • Communicate with Sales and Company Leaders to ensure alignment of goals and strategy.
    • Ability to partner, influence and collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve results
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Lead process improvement opportunities utilizing the LEAN Management system
    • Drive Customer and Employee Success by seeking opportunities for improvement.
    • Champion Change throughout the organization
    • Use the Spirit of EA Sween to guide decisions.

What You'll Need (Qualifications)

  • Relevant experience in customer/trade marketing, sales, marketing & sales data analytics
  • Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; Strong influencing and negotiating skills; Strong ability to articulate complex information in a concise manner and with proper context
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate-Advanced level for MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams; prior experience with CRM preferred
  • Special Skills: Excellent planning and project management skills; Strong Excel and data analytical skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Business acumen and ownership; Creative; Passionate
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to use this talent to generate new business and increase sales within existing customers
  • Prior food service sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
