Real Estate Accounting Manager

This position's primary responsibility is to lead and develop two teams, one that supports the real estate accounting activity for one of the U.S. divisions and a team that supports the Projects and Initiatives accounting activity for all of the U.S. restaurants. This includes working with the region's in computing and setting up rents for the operator leases, monitoring of accounts receivables, supporting and monitoring the construction, fixed asset, and accounts payable activity for the regions, and reviewing the accuracy of the trial balance. The primary customers consist of Regional Finance teams, Regional Real Estate teams, Regional Development Coordinators, Owner Operators and their financial teams, Home Office Franchising, Legal, Corporate Tax, and the U.S. Controller Group. This position must ensure SOX and company policy compliance for various processes related to real estate accounting and will participate in or lead cross functional projects.
